During your pregnancy and before the third trimester it is important that you register at the Admitting Department

on the Main floor of the Ottawa Hospital Civic campus. It is located between Second Cup and Tim Horton's. The department is open 24/7. You will fill out forms provided by them at that visit. You need to bring your OHIP card and information on extra private insurance.

Due to the Covid 19 epidemic  in an effort to reduce the number of visits patients need to make to the hospital, please be advised that pre-registration for expectant mothers can be done over the phone during this time.
